“When Growth Sounds Like Silence”

By The Wordsmith journal & The Hidden Haiku

Not Every Phase Is Loud

There was a time I answered every question, argued every doubt, and chased every ‘why’.

But something shifted. Not suddenly, not dramatically. Quietly.

I started speaking less, and understanding more.

Started staying in rooms where silence sat beside me like an old friend.

And you know what? That’s where I found growth. Not in the noise, but in the nothing.

People Call It Isolation But It’s Introspection

They say I’ve changed. That I don’t talk the way I used to.

I just smile. Let them say it.

Because they don’t know the storm I survived just to sit in this silence.

They don’t know that my quiet is not loneliness it’s self-respect. It’s choosing peace over participation.

It’s the voice inside me that whispers,

"You don’t have to prove anything to anyone anymore."

Work Became My Prayer

There are days when I feel nothing if I'm not working. Because work doesn’t betray you.

Deadlines don’t lie.

Business plans don’t change their mind overnight.

PIXELLOOM, Elysara, these aren’t just names.

They are my safe spaces.

They are where my broken pieces found routine. Where my purpose rose from my pain.

No Notifications, Just Realizations

Growth doesn’t knock on the door with gold shoes.

It enters barefoot, settles in the corner, and waits for you to notice.

Suddenly, I started loving myself without mirrors.

Forgiving people without apologies.

Moving on without closure.

Smiling without being asked to.

That’s not giving up. That’s growing up.

Not Everyone Will Clap For Your Healing

You’ll outgrow people who once felt like home.

You’ll forgive those who will never even know they hurt you.

And you’ll stop explaining your soul to people who listen only to reply, not to understand.

Growth will make you invisible. And that’s okay.

Because the tree that bears the sweetest fruit… grows in silence.

Final Thought

Some of the loudest victories wear no medals,

some of the strongest warriors cry behind closed doors,

and some of the most beautiful growth happens when no one’s watching.

So if your world is silent right now don’t panic. You’re not lost. You’re just growing... where no one can see.
